Mark Weston has been in the art field for 33 years. His beginnings in automotive pinstriping started at the age of 13. He progressed onto hand-painted and air-brushed murals. He owned his own sign companies in Massachusetts, Texas and the Keys. From small custom handpainted signs to lettering on racing boats and cars to billboards, Mark became renowned in his field.
To round out his art skills, Mark started another art business with carved and etched glass, wood and stone. During most of those past years, Mark began his tattooing in 1987 and and decided he wanted to eventually pursue this art form on a full-time basis. Gradually phasing out his other art businesses, Mark began tattooing on a daily basis 15 years ago. He has owned two tattoo studios in Gainesville and another in Key West.
