I recently went to the other tat shop
in town and had problems getting
things done the way I wanted. So in anger I picked up the phone book
and found Mark. Thank goodness! He drew me up the exact
thing
I
had in my head, actually better that what I had in mind. Got it
finished the day I already took off to get it done by the other place.
Not to mention the shop is so clean and comfortable. It looks more
like a massage parlor. I'm so glad I got pissed at the other shop.

Wow, amazing. The shop to start
out was hand painted by Mark. It's beautiful. Then you have the most
amazing guy tattooing for the pleasure of it, not for the profit.
It's more comfortable than any other tattoo place and the work he
does is great. Mark is such a sweetheart and entirely deserves 5
stars, for cleanliness, extensive knowledgability in the
field, and great craftsmanship. He knows what he's doing. And
he does it well.

What can I say about the tattoo art work of Artistry Concepts Mark
Weston? Amazing! This being my very first tattoo I wasn't really sure
where to go. My sister just getting her first tattoo recommended
this place to me. So I checked it out. All I can say is that I'm
very, very pleased at the ending results! All I did was bring in a
crappy drawing and Mark being the kick ass
artist that he is, turned it into a exceptional piece of body art.
Both Gale (managing owner) and Mark (Artist/owner) make you feel welcome
and kinda at home the first moment you walk through the doors. I'm
deff coming back for more! I give this place 5 stars! but if it
were up to me they'd get 10!

As 65+ retirees from up north, my husband and I decided to get our first tattoo. Impressed with the ARTISTRY CONCEPTS website and following a welcoming response to their interest in clients "like us", we made an appointment for a look see. Our visit was most reassuring...the studio is immaculately clean and attractively furnished and Mark patiently answered all my questions about hygiene stating "the only thing you'll leave here with is a great tattoo." With no firm idea about the type of tattoo we wanted we got helpful advice from both Gale and Mark. We made our choices (I also decided to get permanent eyebrows) and scheduled an appointment for that evening. Upon our return Mark had selected a much better design for my husbands tattoo. Our experience from beginning to end could not have been better. We left with detailed verbal and written aftercare instructions and are extremely happy with Mark's work. We'd return and probably will, in a New York minute.

If you are looking for a piece of art to wear proudly
on
your body, then this is the place to go. I wanted a memorial of my
dog who had unexpectedly died. When I went to Artistry Concepts, I
was not greeted at the door by someone covered in tattoos with a tattoo
gun in his hand ready to ink me up. Their place of business is clean
and comfortable. Mark and Gale took their time talking to me about what it
was that I wanted to have done. Mark then reviewed pictures of my dog to
find the one that would best show her personality and work well on my
body. A few days later I went back to review his work and have the
procedure done. Mark still took his time and spoke with me to make
sure everything was as I wanted it to be before he started his work.
I am so very happy with the tattoo! It was exactly as I hoped it would be.

Artistry Concepts. What would I say about Mark and Gale. Well
first off, Gale is a very well rounded woman and she made me feel
that much more comfortable while being in the shop. And while being
in there you certainly need to be relaxed. It helps, as the
atmosphere in the shop is very relaxing. I had made an
appointment and gone in and was more then
welcomed. I had a few things drawn up with what I wanted. Gave it to Mark
and he created me the perfect tattoo. And it only took about an hour
an a half. He is VERY good at what he does. And I'm very happy with
his work. I myself well be going back to get my next tattoo.
So I highly recommend that if you're even considering getting a tattoo and
are serious about it. Draw something up and go in to Artistry Concepts.
You will not regret it. And there's a piece of Mark's wonderful
Artistry. Now take the time and go get a tattoo.

I'm 16 years old and I went to Artistry Concepts as soon as they opened up
in my town. After I went there for the first time and got an amazing
tattoo. I ha
ve
not gone anywhere else and wouldn't. It is by far the cleanest
tattoo shop I have been in and has very welcoming owners Mark and Gale.
I have now had 5 tattoos from there all which are very well done and I
have seen his other work which I am very impressed by. I would
recommend for anyone to go there for a tattoo. You can't beat the quality
of work and family friendly atmosphere. Thanks! Looking

As a local business owner I am always aware of customer service (or
the lack of it) when I visit other establishments. Artistry Concepts
provides superior service in an up-scale atmosphere. I have gotten other
tattoos locally and have been made to feel less than welcome. I am sure
that other people have experienced what I am talking about..........you
are made to feel like the artist is doing you some kind of favor. Mark and
Gale make you feel at home in their studio. Mark really listens to what
you say and delivers a great result. Englewood is a small town and word of
mouth is still the best advertisement..............I have no doubt that

What else can I say that already
hasn't been said about Mark and Gale, and Artistry Concepts. Mark and Gale
are very nice, caring, kind, patient people.
What I can't emphasize enough is how clean their
shop
is, this is not a typical tattoo shop. In fact, I think most doctors
offices aren't this clean. The atmosphere is very
friendly and family oriented, and very cheerful, bright, and relaxing, you
don't have to be afraid to bring your children or your parents, they have
big screen TV's and nice leather furniture to relax on.
I took my parents with me and my husband and they all
decided to get a tattoo, my mom and dad each have 1 and my husband has 2
now. I have 3 tattoos and am in the process of getting Mark to do some
more tattoos. It's addicting!! I think it is really neat and positive
experience.
I really do think that Mark is very talented and he
makes sure that you get quality, and with him I am confident that I am
getting something nice. Mark isn't about just putting a tattoo on your
body, he wants you to be happy with it because it will be there for a very
long time.
If you want a very professional tattoo and get it done
professionally and also have the confidence that it is a clean, safe and
sterile environment, then look no further Mark and Gale are definitely the
people you want to see.

I have had the idea of getting a tattoo done for
several
years. I searched for the right place, everywhere! I had been
to several tattoo shops and never found what I was looking for.
When I
happened into Mark & Gale's studio, I knew immediately that this was where
I was suppose to be. All the time, what I was looking for, was right
around the corner. This is NOT your everyday, run of the mill,
tattoo shop. This is TRULY an uniquely unforgettable tattoo heaven!
First, upon walking in, the atmosphere itself is absolutely amazing, not
only is it comfortable & clean, it's just so easy to take a seat and relax
there.
Then there's the hostess, the very Gracious Gale. She's
sweet, intelligent, and very easy going. She put me at ease right away,
and made me feel right at home. Later, I had the opportunity
to spend some time with Mark, the Marvelous. He took the time to see me,
go over my drawings, answer all of my questions, explain everything to me,
and he made all my worries just go away. I knew I was in excellent hands
with Mark & Gale!!
When I finally had my appointment, I was so nervous.
But with Gale's sweet support along with Mark's humor, all my fears
vanished. The actual tattooing experience was amazing, it was
tremendously terrifying & teasingly torturous; I can't wait until I go
back again!!
My tattoo is bright, bold, & beautiful!! I am a picky
perfectionist, but I was carefully catered & listened to. I got exactly
what I wanted!! I was also very worried about the healing process, I've
heard of scabbing, swelling, bleeding. But I'm so amazed, there's been
NONE!! It was all so simple!!
I already have another tattoo in the works, and a third in my mind, I'm so
excited, I can't wait!! I have already recommended this unique studio to
my friends and family, If you wish to experience the true thrill of
tattooing, all you need are Mark & Gale!!

name is Travis, I first meet Mark while looking for a nice clean
shop with professional artist working to do a cover-up for my wife.
Well within two days, my wife had her cover up
done and I was sitting down for my first. By the end of the month I had
sat in Mark's chair 4 times. The wife and I can"t wait to get more
work done. I agreed that I would not get any
more
work done until the wife can... (seven more months ). So the back
piece may have to be put on hold and I may need a name put on.

When I first found Artistry Concepts, I did a lot of research on Mark
through the internet. I emailed Gale for a whole month and I had my
parents stop by to check out the place! This is the most clean,
comfortable and friendly tattoo studio you will ever find. I went
with my friend and my parents stopped in a few times to see how I was
doing and
everyone
felt so comfortable. Mark was amazing and just the fact that he
wanted to make this tattoo just right for me. I got a very unique
and beautiful medical ID bracelet for my first tattoo and where I work in
the medical field, I know it will help a lot of people realize they have
choices other than the old ID bracelets. It was a great experience
from beginning to end.
I love my tattoo and have sent everyone I know to your website. Putting my pictures on your website has made me feel so special, this tattoo meant a lot and Mark made it even more special because he could see what a hassle having diabetes can be. I am planning on showing my company president (who is a physician) my tattoo and will offer assistance in getting the word out for alternative medical ID's.

Dies war mein erstes Tattoo und ich war ein wenig Angst. Ich hatte gerade
18 und war in den Vereinigten Staaten in den Urlaub. Mein Vater überprüft
im Internet für ein schöner Ort für meine erste Tätowierung, so dass wir
hierher kamen. Ich habe in einer Zeichnung, die der Künstler hatte auf
einmal. Ich kam zurück in der nächsten Woche für mein Tattoo. Nochmals,
ich war ein wenig Angst, aber der Künstler war sehr schön, auch wenn mein
Englisch ist schlecht. Er war sehr lustig, auch wenn ich nicht viel, aber
mein Vater geholfen, zu übersetzen. Ich habe mit einer schönen Löwe
Tätowierung genau so, wie ich es wollte. Ich werde wieder hier im nächsten
Jahr wieder, wenn ich wieder vacatioing.

I had been thinking about getting some of my older tattoos recolored/redone,
and found Artistry Concepts on the web. They had great reviews, so I
took a ride over and met Mark and Gale. Mark has some great artwork
in his studio, and I felt very comfortable with him
in a short time. It was discovered that besides tattoos, we have a lot of
other interests in common. I scheduled an appointment for the following
week to have a 30+ yr. old tattoo, recolored and expanded. Mark did
a superior job, the coloring and shading are excellent, his studio is
neat, and clean, and I left there feeling I had received a top notch job
without the top notch price. I would recommend Artistry Concepts to

I was looking for a place to get my first tattoo and
after a while of researching, I came across Artistry Concepts. They have
a 5 star rating and tons of excellent reviews. So I stopped in to
check it out and brought in a medallion which had the design of the
tattoo I wanted. I first met Gale ... she was awesome. She
was extremely helpful and made you feel instantly comfortable. The
design I wanted was really simple and I wasn't to sure what else I
wanted done with it. Well Mark added some things to it and made it
look amazing ... better then anything I had imagined. He took his time
and made sure I was completely satisfied. I will definitely be
back for more and so will my family and friends!!!

My parents came to Florida to visit for the holidays

The personality I was searching for a place to get my very first
tattoo...I searched the internet and went to visit a couple of places and
it was very disappointing...the places I visited were dirty and the
staff/ownership was unprofessional and cocky...
Then I discovered Artistry Concepts! Mark (the
owner and proprietor) was professional, helpful and honest...the place was
as clean as a doctor's office! My experience could not have been better!
I went back three days later to get a second tattoo and I am already
planning on going back for a third!...

MOST EXCELLENT. No matter if this is your first Tattoo, fourth....or
so on...This shop is your best bet. The personality of Mark and Gale will
make even the most timid person feel very comfortable. The atmosphere is
amazingly calming. I searched for months for a place to get my 2nd and 3rd
tattoo. (I got my first out of state) Artistry Concepts
had
EVERYTHING I was looking for and MORE. Private rooms are a plus!
When you are here you are totally pampered. I felt like I was the only
person that mattered and was not being rushed out for another appt.
I am very impartial to color-but decided to experiment. Mark was able to
add just that subtle "hint" of color making my tattoos "POP". I had
two done and was amazingly
impressed that I had him add color to my first
tattoo. The tattoos that he helped me design looked better than I
could have EVER imagined. I would not only refer this shop to my
friends, and strangers but also to my enemies (LOL). I drove almost
2 hours to get here and had searched for tattoo shops from the Keys to
Miami to Tampa area. This was my BEST bet and I am so glad I didn't
go anywhere else! Thanks ARTISTRY CONCEPTS! The name says it all! I will
be returning before the year is up for more!

Let me begin with saying I went to
two
other places about getting my tattoo on my neck covered up, both places
said that I would have to have something big and black to cover my black
Chinese symbols. I went in to visit with Mark and Gale to get
another opinion. Right off the bat I knew that that is were I would get my
tattoo
covered
up. After explaining what I was looking to get, Mark's answer
was “I can do it." I am so happy that I stopped in there to
talk with them. One day later Mark had my tattoo drawn up and I was
amazed at how it looked; it was every thing I wanted and more. The
day after
that
I was in there getting a cover up tattoo, drinking coffee and feeling very
welcomed. This was my fourth tattoo and I have to say the best place and
work by far. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I can honestly say I
love Artistry Concepts. If you're looking to get a tattoo,
this is the place to go, by far.

I got a tattoo from Mark about a month ago, and I love it. He has
such a professional look and feel to his studio. He also has a very
light touch. I have 3 other tattoos that I got from another local studio
previously, they're pale
in
comparison to the artwork, color, & painlessness of Mark Weston's!!
I will never go anywhere else for a tattoo again, Mark is the man!! I brought in my pet frog in the morning, Mark sketched it out, and that night after work I was getting tattooed. I expected it to be painful (I have a similar tattoo in the same spot on the other side) as the first one I got was very painful. Mark really surprised me, it didn't hurt, it looked exactly like my frog both in the sketch and on my body, the color was a perfect match, and I must say it again, it didn't hurt!!!! Mark did an amazing job!!!! I don't even have words to say how happy I am with my new tattoo, and I am already planning the next tattoo I would like Mark to do for me. Mark is definitely the master of the trade.

When looking to get another tattoo, or in my case piece of art work, it is
always good to get a referral from someone who is close to you. Well, when
my brother referred
me
to Mark Weston of Artistry Concepts, his exact words were "This guy does
some of the best work I have ever seen." He wasn't kidding. When arriving
at Artistry Concepts the first thing I noticed was how SPOTLESS and CLEAN
this shop was, definitely 150% cleaner than any Level 5 or other tattoo
shop in the Sarasota area. There was no smell of burnt cigarettes, or
trash on the floor, you could tell Mark is very meticulous about his shop.
Now to the artwork, I brought in my very detailed English Family Crest (which happened to be on a beer mug) which I wanted placed on my back, he asked me to leave it with him and he would draw it up. When I returned I was speechless on what he had shown me, it was better than what I gave him, and it looks even better on my skin. Mark Weston of Artistry Concepts in Englewood, Fla. will be the only person to ever tattoo my body from this day on. No matter how much the price of gas is or how far away I live, I will make the trip..... Mark Weston of Artistry Concepts is a PERFECTIONIST and more importantly LOVES WHAT HE DOES, you can tell by his work. I recommend him over anyone in the region.

"I wouldn't go anywhere else!" I had a custom design done with my four sons
names put in it. The artist drew a design that I absolutely loved!! The
writing
was perfect. I had gone one other place, and was told they couldn't do
writing. Artistry Concepts is where I went, and where I will continue
to go! The whole experience, from the time I walked through the door, til
when my tattoo was done , was incredible. These are awesome people, that
know what they're doing! It was so comfortable being there. All the
artwork is done by the artist and is awesome!! My family will now go here
and nowhere else!! I love it there! To say that I was thrilled with my
experience is an understatement!

TRANSLATION: This was my first tattoo and I was a little scared. I had just turned 18 and was in the United States on vacation. My father checked on the internet for a nice place for my first tattoo, so we came here. I brought in a drawing that the artist had to draw again. I came back the next week for my tattoo. Again, I was a little scared, but the artist was very nice even though my English is poor. He was very funny even though I could not understand much, but my father helped to translate. I left with a beautiful lion tattoo exactly the way I wanted it. I will come back here again next year when I am vacationing again
